Ariens' new model, IKON-X is available with a 42" (107cm) or 52" (132cm) cutting deck and is fitted with a Kawasaki 726cc engine. Each machine comes with a three-year consumer and ninety day commercial warranty and the company says dealers have the reassurance they are stocking high quality Ariens product.

Firmly established in the UK, Ariens Company has been substantially increasing its dealer network and is now bringing to dealers this exciting latest development in zero-turn mowers."

The zero-turn market is one of the fastest growing in the UK lawn and garden sector. The IKON-X was firrst seen by existing Ariens dealers in September, and showcased at the November 2015 Saltex exhibition. Ariens says the machine will mow a lawn in half the time of a conventional mower, increasing productivity. Like other zero-turns the mower doesn't have the conventional lawn tractor steering system. Driven and steered by the rear wheels via an independent transmission, the stick controls quickly become second nature enabling you to spin on the spot and to do a 180º turn, at the end of the mowing row. The IKON-X can precisely cut around obstacles such as flower beds, garden ornaments and trees, with the easy steering levers for braking and turning.

The mower is built tough and is highly durable with a fully fabricated steel frame. Being welded into a single unit gives the machine extra strength and stability compared to a bolted, multi-section frame.
