LONG SERVICE AWARDS FOR DEALER STAFF
Peacock & Binnington employees honoured

This year commemorates 117 years of Lincolnshire Show attendance for local agricultural machinery dealer Peacock & Binnington.

The agricultural business was started in 1894, the very same year that the Manchester Ship Canal, Tower Bridge and the Blackpool Tower were all opened.

The firm with branches across Lincolnshire and Yorkshire have attended every show held in the County since 1898.

Managing Director, Graham Main, commented, “We are delighted that six of our employees are receiving their long service award at this year’s Lincolnshire show. With 254 years of combined service between them is testament to their commitment and dedication to the business.”

Receiving the award this year are

  • Tina Asquith (Accounts Assistant) with 40 year medal
  • David Oxley (Brigg Service Technician) with 46 year medal
  • Steven Dawson (Brigg Service Technician) with 40 year medal
  • James Cooper (Corringham Service Technician) with 40 year medal
  • Ken Hedison (Corringham Service Manager) with 40 year medal
  • Andrew Dixon (Brigg Service Manager) with 48 year medal

Graham Main continued, “Their long service to the business is a proud achievement for ourselves as an employer, their combined level of experience within the industry is second to none and sets an excellent example to the recent intake of new starters within the business.”
