ARIENS TO HOST SALES SKILLS 2016
New type of dealer meeting

John Horn, Ariens Senior Vice President for International Sales and Marketing will be presenting the new events

Ariens Company is to host a new type of dealer meeting in selected venues around the country.

Sales Skills 2016 will focus on selling and product demonstration techniques for Ariens brands, with a series of hands-on seminars based on similar, successful events in the US.

Recognising that in recent years dealers have had to deal with an ever-changing competitive landscape, Ariens say that Sales Skills 2016 will provide them with proven methods to overcome this problem. This will help establish powerful customer experiences and forge long-term relationships.

John Horn, Ariens Senior Vice President for International Sales and Marketing says, “Our brands are some of the top brands in the industry, Countax, Westwood, Ariens and ECHO and as such deserve to be presented in a knowledgeable and professional way. That is what our customers expect and deserve.

“To ensure our dealers can deliver this expectation, the responsibility falls on our shoulders to offer the highest level of quality training to ensure they are ‘Best in Class’ and our brands become ‘Top of Mind’ within the dealerships.”

The events have been created for dealership sales staff who are looking to develop their demonstration skills and extend their product knowledge. It will look to improve interaction with customers and address their needs more effectively. New sales managers and customer facing staff who are new to the garden machinery industry will also gain a pool of knowledge. Attendees will have the opportunity to share ideas on how to improve the customer experience in their showrooms.

Part of the day will be devoted to using products from the Ariens brands with the opportunity to learn how to best present the benefits of the products to meet customer needs. Developing effective product demonstration skills, both pre and post purchase, will be at the core of each hands-on event. Dealers will also become familiar with the features and benefits of the brands - Countax and Westwood tractors, Ariens zero turns and ECHO power tools will be forefront.

The aim is to encourage dealers to share ideas and put into practice back at the dealership the skills they have learned throughout the day.

Sales Skills 2016 will take place at six venues around the UK and will be presented by Ariens’ John Horn.
