Continuing our journey to grow and develop our business, we haveexciting opportunities for individuals to join our team:

Technical Support Advisor

We require a highly experienced technical support assistant to provide technical assistance and knowledge in support to our dealer base for our own. Your main duties will involve liaising with manufacturers, suppliers and our dealer base relating to technical issue and updates.

You will evaluate dealer returns; carrying out complex diagnostics and repairs on machines and compile detailed reports for dealers regarding returns including fault finding, reasoning and repair details. You will also be involved with the testing of own brand new products and providing reports to senior management on findings.

You must also be confident at presenting to groups of people as the role will involve presenting at dealer days and dealer technical update days.

To be considered you must have:

  • Proven knowledge and experience using methods, materials, tools, and techniques in the repair of garden machinery especially 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines.
  • Briggs & Stratton Master Service Technician qualification.
  • Outstanding knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Excellent skills in operating equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and to diagnose problems and find solutions.
  • Good level of IT literacy, including competence with Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook.
  • City & Guilds Level 2, NVQ Level 3, LTA Level 2 in agriculture/horticultural engineering preferable.
