GGM IN CONISTON RTV DEAL
Supplies six Kubota vehicles

A popular North Yorkshire destination resort has added six Kubota utility vehicles to its off-road fleet this month as part of a major investment in a new 4x4 driving experience.

The new Kubota vehicles

In a deal signed with local groundcare dealer, Gibson's Garden Machinery (GGM), the Skipton-based, 4-star rated The Coniston Hotel and Country Estate has purchased four of Kubota's new RTV-X900 vehicles and two 4-seater RTV1140s, in a bid to add a different dimension to the popular off-road 'experience', in which guests spend a day putting various 4x4-equipped vehicles through their paces in a mixed and challenging off road environment.

"The Kubotas will be used by the guests taking part in the off road experience; for leisure and corporate events and as part of the beginner, intermediate and advanced driver training programmes that we offer here at the hotel," explains Craig Dunkerley, General Manager at The Coniston 4x4 Experience.

The hotel has been running Kubota machines for many years, enjoying a long and successful working relationship with GGM.

"We're delighted to continue our working relationship with The Coniston Hotel and Country Estate and provide them with the fleet of utility vehicles that will help to ensure that their new 4x4 off road experience is a huge success," explains Chris Gibson, GGM Managing Director.

"We've hosted a number of RTV ride and drive days at Coniston over the years, the most recent being back in February to promote the launch of Kubota RTV-X900. The levels of interest in the new model, and in Kubota's complete range of vehicles has been considerable, and we predict even higher levels of interest at our next customer ride and drive, which we'll stage once more at Coniston. This time, though, customers will be able to really put the machines put their paces on the 4x4 experience."
