TURF PRO LAUNCHED
Terrific response to launch newsletter

Earlier this week, the first of the new weekly series of Turf Pro Weekly Briefing newsletters was delivered to more than 10,000 turf professionals and associates - and received a terrific response with almost 4000 viewings in the first couple of days.

Turf Pro is the sister title to Service Dealer and was launched in 1998. In recent years, the title has been published by external publishers, but has now returned to be produced by the same team that bring you Service Dealer.

Turf Pro Weekly Briefing, providing news and information on the professional turfcare industry covering golf courses, sportsgrounds, open spaces, parks and outdoor amenities - will be published every Monday.

Then next week see the launch of the innovative Turf Pro magazine in digital format containing video, interactive content, web-links etc.  The issue is published by Chris Biddle, edited by Steve Gibbs who has been with Service Dealer for over ten years, and produced by our partners, Wallingford-based  The Ad Plain (TAP).

Duncan Murray-Clarke, md of TAP said, "We are producing Turf Pro in this new format to meet the growing demand for receiving news and information anywhere, anytime. It is interesting that the first issue of Turf Pro Weekly Briefing was viewed almost 50/50 between desk computers and tablets, whilst the business-to-business Service Dealer newsletter is still predominately read on desktop PCs."
