New Holland has celebrated the success of its national network of agricultural dealers with the presentation of five awards in recognition of excellence in performance and service quality.

The five award winning dealers have been selected from New Holland’s network of 62 dealerships with 131 locations in the UK and Ireland.



The New Holland Dealer of the Year Awards are part of an ongoing program to highlight the achievements of its dealers.

New Holland UK and Ireland Managing Director, Andrew Watson said, "What is remarkable about our dealers is their diversity and breadth. The broad reach of our network means that our customers are never more than 25 miles away from a New Holland dealer. Our dealers range from small to large, with some being relatively new, and some have been handed down through generations for over 100 years. However, each dealer is working towards the same common goal of providing the best possible machinery to support the farming community.”

“Every year it becomes increasingly difficult to name just one dealer to be crowned as the overall winner for each individual category, as all of our dealers continue to impress us with their innovation and growth year upon year.”

Award winners for 2015 include:

• Large Dealer of the Year – T.H White Ltd, Wiltshire
• Medium Mixed Dealer of the Year - R.Kennedy & Co Ltd, Northern Ireland
• Small Dealer of the Year - Hawkins Agri Ltd, Somerset
• Tractor Dealer of the Year - Atkinson Tractors Ltd, Cheshire
• Irish Dealer of the Year - Armstrong Machinery, Dublin

Speaking about their award win, Pat Smith, Director of T.H White Agriculture & Construction said, "This prestigious award is a testament to the hard work and diligence of all our staff across the sales, service and parts divisions, in delivering the best possible service for our customers. Agricultural engineering is at the heart of our business, so to be named as Large Dealer of the Year by New Holland is a fantastic achievement. We are all extremely pleased with the win."

The Irish Dealer of the Year award has been presented to Armstrong Machinery in Dublin. The dealership is a family run business, with siblings Kate, Charles and James Armstrong at the helm. On presentation of the award, James Armstrong said: “Armstrong Machinery has seen a great deal of change over recent years, so to be announced as Irish Dealer of the Year 2014 is an overwhelming achievement. We are extremely pleased to accept the award and thank all of our loyal customers for their continued support.”

The award for Mixed Dealer of the Year was given to R.Kennedy & Co Ltd, based in Northern Ireland. Dealer Principal, Bertie Kennedy commented: “To receive an award as prestigious as the New Holland Mixed Dealer of the Year is fantastic news for all of us here at R.Kennedy & Co and a testament to the loyalty of our customers and hard work of all of our staff.”

Atkinson Tractors in Cheshire has been awarded Tractor Dealer of the Year, in recognition of their tractor sales over the past 12 months.

Hawkins Agri Ltd has been announced as New Holland’s Small Dealer of the Year. Ian Parsons from Hawkins Agri commented: “We are really proud and honoured to be awarded the prestigious title of ’Small Dealer of the Year 2014’ by New Holland. We wish to thank all of our customers for their support and custom in the past and we look forward to continued success together in the future.”
