HAYTER/TORO APPOINT
New digital marketing specialist

Chris Heffer
Hayter and Toro have appointed digital marketing specialist Chris Heffer.

Chris officially took up his new post in June and he arrives with a wealth of experience in website development, social media growth and digitally led business campaigns and marketing strategies.

As part of his role to lead the digital marketing efforts for Hayter and Toro Chris is primarily hoping to grow the online communities of the two well established businesses and increase awareness of the brands amongst a new audience.

“Both Hayter and Toro are such well known and well respected brands and businesses that I am really excited about the challenge of developing the online image of each and reaching new and potentially untapped markets and demographics,” said Mr Heffer, whose recent experience includes working with enterprise software providers SAP and Oracle and even presented on social media strategy at the UK Facebook offices.

“I hope that by further developing the digital side of the business we can increase our following and really reinvigorate our presence in this area and the wider market.”

His arrival comes as British manufacturer Hayter celebrates its 70th (Platinum) Anniversary, and just two years after Toro marked a century in business.

Julie Dommett, Hayter / Toro Marketing Manager, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Chris to the team at a really exciting time. As a business we are excited about the potential to develop our online offerings into communities where we can provide expert advice about lawn care, as well as educate consumers on our products and what we offer to the market.”
