SUMO LAUNCH PARTS DIVISION
Parts for any Sumo machine regardless of age

Pip Snaith

With the expansion of the Sumo range of tillage machinery, and the ever-increasing popularity of the new range of Sumo seed drills, the company have launched a separate parts division to actively promote Sumo Genuine Parts.

“We believe that when a customer purchases one of our machines, they are doing so because of the design and build quality,” says Pip Snaith, newly-appointed Parts Manager for drill and tillage machinery manufacturer Sumo. “And this attention to detail and quality is replicated in the spare parts we supply. We are able to supply through our well stocked dealer network a spare part for any SUMO machine regardless of age. If the part is not in stock for an old machine we can quickly access the original drawing and manufacture the part to the exact specifications as the original."

Sumo’s East Yorkshire based factory keeps in stock a huge quantity of parts for all of the company’s range of machines to make sure that parts are on hand to be available when customers need them.

Mr Snaith notes that most of Sumo’s machines are used in the peak working periods, when down time should be avoided at all costs, hence experience proves that fitting genuine Sumo parts is the only sure way to ensure a customer’s machine performs to its full potential.

“I believe the Sumo range of machines is one of the most innovative in the UK. With the backing of our new dedicated parts department we will be able to offer a first rate support service for these machines,” adds Mr Snaith.

To enable quick identification of all earth wearing parts Sumo have launched a dedicated parts section on their website www.sumo1.com.  This will be updated on a regular basis as new machines enter the field.
