This includes all cordless, mains and petrol-powered garden machinery from the range. Included in the extended warranty program are hedge trimmers, line trimmers, brush cutters, chainsaws, blowers, pole trimmers, mowers, scarifiers and water pumps.

The original warranty is for a standard 12-month period, and only then can an extended, additional 24-month warranty, for professional and domestic users, be offered as long as the customer returns the machine to the authorised P.D.I. dealer for service within 12-months of the initial purchase. Every tool manufactured by Makita UK has a unique serial number. This provides protection against counterfeit tools which are sometimes offered for sale in suspicious circumstances.
