MAP LIVE APPOINT
George Moss is new Marketing Director

George Moss
MAP Live Ltd has announced that George Moss a Director of Sports Eye has been appointed Marketing Director for the MAP Live 2013 series of groundscare machinery demo days.

George started his career with Massey Ferguson tractors in Coventry and has been involved in professional and semi-professional sport for over 25 years. He has held senior management positions from Commercial Director to MD in the manufacturing and service sectors and he helped co-found with his partner several on-line information and marketing sites including www.footballtradedirectory.com after holding a senior management position at Preston North End FC.

Clare Johnson, Director of MAP Live Ltd, says:  “George’s vast experience and network of relationships within the sports industry and media will add significant value to the MAP Live proposition:  test the best machinery in groundscare at local demo days”.

Johnson adds:  “The theme of how to get excellent results when headcount and budget have been cut is clearly resonating across all groundscare sectors”.

Reflecting on the series of events so far, Clare said,  "We appreciate enormously the industry support that's pouring in. Getting any new initiative off the ground is always a huge undertaking, and the resources that this founder group of pioneers - visitors, demonstrators, media and organisers - are putting into the first series will benefit both the upcoming events and our whole sector in subsequent years, as MAP Live becomes an established fixture".

The next events are:  MAP Live North-West Haydock Park on 5th June and MAP Live North-East on 19th June, before moving to Scotland and Wales to round off the 2013 series.
