Figures released by the AEA show that UK exports of agricultural and outdoor power products rose by 0.9% in 2013 to £1,818.4m

Within this total exports of agricultural engineering products slipped slightly by 0.2% to £1,663m whilst those of outdoor power products rose 14% to £155m.

AEA Economist, Chris Evans, said "The EU remains our prominent trading partner taking 57.2% of all exports. North America takes 18.1% whilst Asia represents 7.5% of the total value of export trade."

The major 10 individual country markets for overall exports are given in the table below where it can be seen that the USA with 17.3% of all exports and France with 14.8% remain prime markets. Good growth was recorded for Japan (+40%), Denmark (+34%) and the USA (+31%).
