SERVICE DEALER NOW ON FACEBOOK
Will add to our communication with the industry

Juliet D'Costa
Service Dealer is now on Facebook which will add another element to our communication with the industry.  Early days yet, but I hope that those of you with Facebook accounts will visit the page and Like it so that we can keep you even better informed.

This also co-incides with us introducing a new section within our weekly newsletter YOUR BUSINESS which will carry relevant business advice and information for dealerships.  But, given the growth of social media, there are a few pitfalls and issues that you need to be aware of in order that you don't run into problems.  For instance, indiscreet tweets can lead to serious legal issues, and be careful who runs your Facebook account.

To help you, we have invited Juliet D'Costa who runs Social Pickle, a company specialising in helping small businesses use Facebook and Twitter effectively and responsibly, to contribute towards the YOUR BUSINESS section of Service Dealer Update - and she will be writing for the Service Dealer Business Quarterly magazine out next month.

PS: And just in case the face is familiar,  just say we like to keep it in the family!
