PROMISING BATSMAN!
Presentation to Roger Lane Nott
Service Dealer editor Chris Biddle rolled back the years for retiring AEA ceo Roger Lane Nott this week, when he dropped into the offices at Peterborough to hand over a special gift to mark Roger's 8 years at the helm of the manufacturer's trade association.
He presented a 1964 edition of the the famous cricketing almanac, Wisden, in which Roger featured as young batsman in the first team averages for this school, Nautical College, Pangbourne. Fifty years on, Roger is now Chairman of Governors at the celebrated public school on the banks of the River Thames.

Now known as Pangbourne College, Roger is intending to spend more time, following his retirement, in planning the College's centenary celebrations in 2017.
He says, "The 50 year old Wisden is a lovely reminder of my time in the First XI at Pangbourne, and I thank Chris and the readers of Service Dealer for this special gift."
