ICE COOL TV AD FROM STIHL Company hits screens for the first time
STIHL GB's first TV ad 'That's why I use STIHL' went live this week on Channel 4 South and via Sky Adsmart, with the campaign also featuring in print and on YouTube.
The creative piece uses the talents of a professional ice sculptor, Anne Marie Taberdo, and her STIHL chainsaw to capture imaginations and show STIHL in a different light.
Simon Hewitt, Head of Marketing at STIHL GB, says the ad shows a STIHL chainsaw outside its usual setting - tapping into a wider audience.
"This is the first TV ad that STIHL GB has generated. More and more we are hearing about our tools being used in interesting and unique ways, including in Anne Marie's case - in a minus eight degree freezer. This story is a great way to portray both the performance of our chainsaws while capturing the imaginations of new viewers. It's a brilliant first TV ad for STIHL," says Simon.
The campaign was created by STIHL GB's advertising agency, BWP Group.
The campaign is running nationally across a number of publications, with the TV ad aired in selected regions from September - October 2015.
