According to figures released by the AEA during the month of April 2018 1,189 tractor units were registered which equates to a +10.9% change compared with April 2017.
The means that year to date 4,121 units have now been registered which is a +0.6% change compared with January-April 2017.
AEA Economist Stephen Howarth said, "UK agricultural tractor registrations returned to year-on-year growth in April. During the month, 1,189 machines were registered, just over 100 (11%) more than in April 2017.
"This followed two months of annual declines and meant that the total for the year to date moved back ahead of the same period last year."
