ADAM HENSON IS KEYNOTE SPEAKER AT SERVICE DEALER CONFERENCE
BBC Countryfile presenter to address delegates

Service Dealer are delighted to announce that farmer and BBC Countryfile presenter Adam Henson has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the Service Dealer Conference & Awards.

Service Dealer owner Duncan Murray-Clarke said, "We wanted to start the conference with a personality that not only related to our industry but could also tell their story and inspire the delegates and therefore set the scene for the day's discussions.”

Adam in his presentation will be covering topics such as generation succession in a business, moving with the times, diversifying and other topics close to heart of our industry.

Adam Henson

Born into a farming family, Adam gained experience with animals and farming from an early age. Adam achieved a HND in Agriculture at Seale-Hayne Agricultural College in Devon, where he met his business partner Duncan Andrews.

Having succeeded Bemborough Farm tenancy from his father, Adam now runs the 650-hectare estate with Duncan Andrews, growing wheat, spring barley and oilseed rape, alongside a flock of 350 commercial ewes. They also run the Cotswold Farm Park which pioneers rare breed conservation. Set up in 1971 by Adam’s father, this award-winning tourist attraction now welcomes over 100,000 visitors a year.

Adam started in television in 2001 when he was chosen, from 3,500 applicants, to be a presenter for BBC Countryfile, and has since put his farming knowledge to good use, broadcasting on a wide range of programmes for both radio and TV.
