JOHN DEERE TOP THE (OLD) CHARTS
Market shares for 2014 announced

EU regulations permit publication of market share data, but only after one year.
The AEA has just announced the market share data for 2014  for tractors over 50hp

EU regulations permit publication of market share data, but only after one year.

The market share data for 2014 was:

29.5%  (3993 units) JOHN DEERE
28.8% (3896 units) CNH (inc Case and New Holland)
21.8% (2948 units) AGCO (inc MF, Fendt, Valtra and Challenger)
5.7% (769 units) CLAAS
4.7% (636 units) KUBOTA
2.9% (391 units AGRI-ARGO (inc McCormick, Landini)
2.2% (298 units) SDF
1.0%
(132 units) ZETOR
0.9% (126 units) JCB

337 units sold by others (2.5%)

The data analysed are tractor units registered for road use under the Department for Transport body code 'agricultural tractor'.  Almost all tractors sold into agriculture are registered.  However, it should be noted that small tractors (e.g. below 50 hp) are sold in various markets and not all are registered.
