Hamilton Brothers are leading suppliers and service contractors of Groundcare Machinery to numerous golf courses, Premier Division Football Clubs, local councils and sports arenas across West Central Scotland.

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen at our Bishopton Headquarters for a dynamic Groundcare Service Manager to effectively manage our Groundcare Workshop and lead a team of professionally qualified Groundcare Technicians to meet and supersede deadlines and achieve great customer satisfaction.

In this role you will interact directly with customers, ensure issues are dealt with swiftly and liaise closely with all other dealership and manufacturer personnel, so good interpersonal skills are a must. Other key attributes include excellent IT, organisational, logistical and administrative abilities. Technical knowledge of grass cutting machinery and the groundcare and golf retail markets are not vital but would be beneficial.

Daily tasks and activities include managing and supporting the Warranty Administrator, motivating and training service staff to optimise performance and liaising with the Parts Department to ensure efficient parts supply. You will also be responsible for making sure the groundcare workshop and environs are kept tidy, and that equipment is regularly maintained to maximise throughput.

Administrative duties include updating all job types and relevant records, invoicing, prospecting, preparing quotations and overtime rotas plus ensuring the Service Department Health and Safety Standards and Procedures are practiced and kept up to date.
