Current statistics show that agriculture and the land-based industries are the most hazardous in the UK. Engineering and technical innovations have a role to play in improving matters.
This conference aims to enable attendees to examine their own professional practice and to identify areas where they may be able to bring about positive improvements in health and safety in the land-based industries.
The conference is of great importance to all those working with agricultural machinery. It looks at all aspects of machinery safety, including the influence of design, maintenance and operation on safety and what the agricultural engineering professional can do about it.
