This Spring Toro is adding a new All Wheel Drive (AWD) mower to its range of steel deck Recycler® mowers.

The AWD mower is especially suitable for mowing on hilly or wet terrain, or where particularly tough grass is growing.

On slopes, where the operator needs to mow sideways rather than up and down, a rear wheel drive or front wheel drive mower will naturally slide down the hill, but the AWD machine will mow straight lines without the operator needing to fight to keep it going straight. All four wheels moving together also offer better traction in softer and wetter conditions.

Powered by a 190cc 675 Series Briggs & Stratton engine, the AWD mower features an Automatic Drive System with Traction Assist to maximise control on slopes.

Customers can choose to collect the cuttings in the large grassbag or engage the Recycler® cutting system where the grass clippings are repeatedly re-cut into a fine mulch which promotes a health, lush lawn.

The new AWD mower has a recommended retail price of £599.
