Makita EN5950SH long reach hedge trimmer

It is designed for landscape contractor operations where the 1 metre handle extension enables the 590mm blade to reach further across the hedge. This is a straight hedge trimmer without blade angle adjustment, however with its compact length it still gives good reach, making it ideal for deep hedges & shrubs where a full length pole trimmer is too long, & perfect for transportation in smaller commercial vehicles.

The new Makita EN5950SH is powered by the efficient Makita MM4 4-stroke petrol engine. This 25.4cc version delivers 1.03hp and will run up to 10,000rpm. The MM4 engine is very economic with low fuel consumption, low running costs and low emissions and is lightweight and comfortable to use. Moreover the wet sump oil pressure lubrication system enables this trimmer to be used at any angle.

The 590mm blade is double sided meaning it will cut on both sides for maximum productivity. The blade will run up to 2,100 strokes per minute and will cut 21mm diameter branches. Weighing just 6.0kg, this well balanced trimmer has an ergonomically designed forward D handle and rear control grip handle for maximum machine control.
