AFTER SALES APPOINTMENT AT EGO
Joerg Bauerle joins from Stihl

EGO Power+ continues to expand its European team with the creation of a new position of After Sales Manager.

This position has been filled by Joerg Bauerle who joins EGO from Stihl where he gained nine years’ experience in the technical service department. Joerg also has a degree in engineering and business management so is well positioned to work closely with EGO’s engineers to develop the battery powered products.

“I believe that battery technology is the future for gardening machinery and EGO is the cordless expert, focussing exclusively on lithium-ion. It’s great to be part of something with such huge growth potential in the UK market. I was impressed as soon as I saw the quality and performance of EGO’s products and knew that it was something I wanted to be part of” said Joerg.

As part of his role Joerg will be building a team to support EGO’s offering by way of boosting service opportunities for dealers whilst enhancing the end-user experience.

Discussing Joerg’s appointment, and the creation of the new role, Peter Melrose, EGO’s European president, said, “After sales has become a major strand of our development, particularly after the rapid rate at which the EGO brand has expanded. We created the role to be able to offer more to our servicing network and Joerg is the perfect candidate to help us do that. We’re really looking forward to developing the after sales side to our business”.
