EGO SHOW PRESS NEW MULTI-TOOL
Event this week in Buckinghamshire

Ego Power+ showed off their new cordless Multi-Tool to members of the press this week -  along with other products from their battery powered range at an event held at Hicknham Farm, Burnham, Buckinghamshire.

Ego's new Multi-Tool with line trimmer attachment

Comprising a single power head and five tool attachments, that can be quickly changed, the multi-tool has the team at Ego excited about its potential. Peter Melrose, European President told the assembled consumer and trade press that the unit, "pushes the boundaries of cordless battery performance, making it the one tool that every gardener needs to have in their armoury."

The multi-tool utilises the company's 56 volt lithium-ion battery. The attachments which are driven by this power source include:

  • 160cm hedgetrimmer with 12 lockable cutting angles
  • 30cm brush cutter with a three-sided reversible blade
  • 38cm line trimmer featuring rapid reload bump head
  • 25cm pole saw with a hook for pulling and cutting down loose branches
  • and a lawn edging tool with an adjustable depth wheel

There is also the option for an additional carbon fibre, lightweight extension pole offering a further 75cm to reach new heights.

The Multi-Tool's range of attachments

The company also took the opportuity to allow the press to get hands on with their new mowers, both push and self-propelled machines; line trimmers; leaf-blowers including back-pack powered models; hedgetrimmers and chainsaws.

The company are looking to gain more dealers as they believe that cordless is going to play an increasingly important role in the outdoor powered equipment market.
