EGO POWER+ EXPANDS TEAM
Two new strategic appointments

EGO Power + has announced two new strategic appointments.

Vincent Brauns has been appointed as product manager with the specific task of developing new products to extend the EGO reach across Europe.

“I shall have an integral role in the new product development programme for both domestic and professional markets through our European and UK dealer channels. Enhancing the service elements of our products will provide an added bonus for our dealers,” said Vincent who joins EGO from Andreas Stihl.

In the UK sales are handled exclusively by Henton & Chattell through its 1500+ strong dealer network. To support them, EGO has appointed product specialist Ian Boler.

Ian’s role will focus on the dual areas of seeking new retail customers and also supporting existing stockists of the EGO range.

In the past he has undertaken similar work on behalf of Bosch professional power tools. The company says his experience in the area of cordless lithium-ion technology will be of huge benefit.

“The more I use the products the stronger my conviction that EGO will become the major brand for cordless garden products in Britain. Consumers and trade customers are increasingly motivated by environmental claims for products and ours do genuinely tick all the boxes,” says Ian.

Steve Roskell, the UK and European marketing director for EGO describes the two appointment as “significant additions in our thrust to become a major force in the sector for cordless garden products.”
